Courses in Biobloc Orthotropics
It appears that the orthotropic philosophy is able to achieve a degree of correction and stability beyond that previously achieved in orthodontics. Dr Mew is concerned that the philosophy could die with him and is willing to address any University staff or post-graduates, in any country, free of charge.
From past experience Dr Mew has found that personal hands-on tuition is required if clinicians are to perfect these techniques. The most effective means has been when six to ten clinicians have grouped together to fund a two year course, involving twelve one day seminars at one, or more of their offices. These are a blend of theory, case discussion and hands-on guidance, initially at monthly intervals and subsequently at two and three monthly intervals to enable cases to be carried through to completion. In the past, this has involved orthodontic, general and mixed groups.
