Membership Application

There are six levels of membership.
Master
An expert in Orthotropics (as determined by criteria set up by the board).

Registered
Has attended a course and/or taken an exam in Orthotropics.

Provisional
A dentist or orthodontist who is interested in Orthotropics but has not yet received a training. This category is limited to 2 years by when applicants must have attended a course and/or taken a written test. (as determined by criteria set up by the board).

Affiliate Member
This is for all the non-dentists (MFTs, lab techs, assistants, Oral Myologists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, etc.).

Honorary Member
As determined by criteria set up by the board.

Unqualified
Applicants who have not attended an approved course or taken a test, or who have not paid their membership fee.

All members except Honorary members are required to pay an initial charge of £20 to cover the cost of registration on the International Site for two years and this includes their own web pages with a password to update them. The subscription charge of £20 will become due in the second January following registration and every second January thereafter.
Laboratories: If you are registering as a Laboratory Technician a subscription charge of £100 will be charged. The subscription charge of £100 will become due in the second January following registration and every second January thereafter.

Certified Membership
Outstanding members may be awarded the Certificate of Master on the decision of the Board. The regulations for this vary from country to country and details can be obtained from your National Orthotropic organisation.

If you are a Professional Association or Dental Laboratory or other commercial firm please send your details to john.mew@virgin.net for an entry on the appropriate list. If you give us the address of your existing website we will place a link beside your name.

The directory only lists the names of Orthotropists within a region, country and area, so fill these in first. Then please fill out your remaining details below, these will be added to the International Directory on completion of payment. You will then be offered the immediate chance to personalise your web page within the International Directory.

 

Terms and Conditions
The webmaster retains the copyright for all written and graphic material including names and addresses. Members and supporters have permission to create single copies for private purposes provided they acknowledge the source. Permission must be obtained from the webmaster before any material from the site may be used or reproduced for commercial purposes.

Orthotropics® is a registered name that literally means 'Growth guidance'. Subscribers have license to use of it to describe their work but only members have the right to use it on their published literature. All use of the word 'orthoptropics®' is dependent on maintaining the standards that shall from time to time be determined.

The webmaster reserves the right to exclude or remove anyone who makes untruthful or unreasonable claims. The webmaster also has absolute discretion, to change the layout or purpose of the site, to add or remove written or graphic material, names of individuals, organisations or businesses.
